I always find it interesting that the "homeowner" boards always talk about electricians who will let the homeowner do the labor intensive tasks like burying cables in the yard, setting equipment and doing the roughs inside but I have never actually read a post from an electrician saying he would go for that.
I always assume this "friendly electrician" who only inspects and makes a few final connections is just a fantasy to keep people from saying the homeowner poster was endangering his family.
