I'm embarrased to bring this up AGAIN, but does anyone know of a good book that explains in detail the correct way to wire portable generators for emergency service on a house or business. There so many different kind of portable generators, some with the frame grounded to neutral, and then some with it isolated, that I STILL CAN'T GET IT STRAIGHT IN MY MIND. It seems that it's going to take some pictures and examples, for me to get it straight to where I don't have any questions on the "correct code way" to do it. I know there are many ways to do it, and with the generator panels that are out there, some are not up to code. So if you know a good book that explains the different scenario's, please let me know. The good old Soares Grounding book is a good place to start. The most confusing part of generators is what you do with the ground and neutral.
