The local supply houses are saying that they cannot get pricing for PVC factory orders. Apparently the raw materials were all coming from the gulf region.

I ordered the 800' of 4" sched 40 that I need for my current contracts and was able to find it at a good price. I did get several "no bid" replys when I was calling around.

If you need PVC you might want to consider buying now. Supplies are going to get very tight.

Around here, pvc has about doubled in price. Cantex and PWPipe are not taking any new orders untill things have settled down. there is an extreme resin shortage, due to some critical chemical plants damaged in the gulf area

ps. Steel is going to go through the roof as well.
