Can a Greenlee double braided rope have a new eye spliced on if the original one got cut off?

Would this have to be sent to Greenlee to do or is there a rope splicer that can do it?

I know how to splice an eye in a single braided rope. Every electrician should know how. But double braided?

These are expensive ropes. I would like to save them.

Check these pages out. I know the riggers in the theatre I used to work at would do this all day long. Depending on the rope the splices can be fairly simple on a braided rope.
