Many years ago there was a plastic protector that snapped into the screw holes on outlet boxes. It was primarily used where plaster was the wall finish. There was a spike of plastic protruding from the center to aid in locating boxes that were buried. Is this still manufactured? I ahve tried several sources w/o success.

I just found a free sample from EC&M or Electrical Contractor magazines. It says www.compacovers.com on it. I hope that's what you want.

Thanks Ralph. These look to be reusable. Good idea. The style I used were one timers.
