To those in the Chicago area, I have a customer in Cook County. I haven't worked there before and would appreciate if you would e-mail me with their number and any special requirements, registration, bond, etc.. My Lic. is City of Woodstock (McH. Co.).

Thanks,
Dave

What village or is it unincorporated?

Here is a link to a large list if village information in upper illinois.
http://www.lmccdupage.org/electric.htm

It has testing, bonding, code cycle, inspector name, address, phone, fax, web site, & email.

Some info may be out dated. I seen Elgin & Gurnee are wrong. Did not look at them all.

For amendments I like to look on the village web site first. For working requirements best just calling.

Thanks Tom. It has an Elgin address, but it's unincorporated Cook County.

Hey Dave,
http://www.cookcountygov.com/agencyDetail.php?pAgencyID=12

See page 2 for requirements on permit application below: http://www.cookcountygov.com/Agencies/cc_building_permit.pdf

Looks like a road trip to the county building in Daily Town. Hope you have everything you need the first time. Good luck.

I think the line "does not include permit" is looking especially good on the contract proposal now.
