I thought I bring you guy's up to date. my builder is now supplying his own recess light's for every job we do.So my new quiestion is how much do you charge? My charge is 40.00 just for the light. this is in a drop ceiling.

Builder supplied you can charge what ever you normaly get for an opening. I would charge more because the GC is cutting into your proffit. Make sure he gets the trims and bulbs too. Also depends on the cieling hight. For some drywall cielings I would figure more just for layout time.

If he supplies the fixtures he should also cover the warranty for them.

Thank's guy's for the input. Builder know's he will have to warranty them. Im hope with all the work we do and them having to run around supplying fixtures they will realize it is not just the cost of a light.
