I'm looking for a message forum similar to ECN covering data and communications issues.

I don't have any specific questions. I just finished my biggest Cat 5e job to date and would like to learn more about how the pros do it.

Anyone have any good links?

For what it's worth one that I belong to is tek-tips.com

There are a number of forums there, you will want the cabling forum. The whole place seems to be populated mostly by computer geeks (corporate IT types) and people buying telecom gear on Ebay who have no idea how to use it. You undoubtedly know more than they do on the subject.

Maybe this is something we should posiblly look into covering on our site here. I know
we touch on it here and there but there alot of guys/girls out there starting to take this stuff on. Well have to see what everyones thoughts are on it and bring it to the big mans attention possibly

NJ,
That would be fantastic provided we have the people with the experience who are willing to share.

Thanks Hbiss!

I actually found that same site myself last nite after a google search. It doesn't seem very active, only a few posts per day. There was some good info in some of the old thread though.
