Anyone have any experiance with metal wireway instead of multiple conduit runs, or should I say anyone every save money on material and labor combined doing so?

Any comments would be appreciated!

The company I work for uses metal raceways in between compressors. This is a space saver as the suction and discharge lines take up a lot of room, and the only other choice would be to stack conduits in layers.

This also provides for one large entry into the enclosure instead of four or more conduits.

The kicker is making sure that the wireway is sized correctly per the N.E.C. Especially when you have multiple power conductors.
