On commercial jobs for light switching do you tend to run the circuit wiring through the switch box, or to run separate wiring (e.g. two wires) down to the switch, or what ever is more convenient?
CGW, There's alot of variables to that question... Wiring method, difficulty of installation, etc. should be used in determining whether to drop switchlegs or not...
In commercial, I tend to run things "through the switch box", especially if there are multiple fixtures involved. But you can do either.
