Hello everyone. Does anyone know if you have to derate your wire for frequency? If you are supposed to where would I find some derating table on this subject. Thanks!

No derating for frequency that I know of. Some like to select different types of wire and shielding for different types of communication, but no derating.

A large conductor will suffer from some skin effect. Not very much at 60Hz but if you are using something like 1 kHz it will be an important factor. I'm afraid, I don't have the factors nor a good reference at hand.

Here is an article about the phenomenon.
