Did you make enough money on the job?
Your price seems okay.

Were the supplies selected and delivered for you too?

I would not say you were too low...

But then again I'm dumb enough to bid $4800 on a 2600 SF custom home and I'm kicking myself for it now...

"...This is the job that never ends...
...Yes it goes on and on my friends...
...Someone started working it not knowing what it was...
...and they'll continue working it forever just because..." (repeat ad infinitum...)

If the $1400 was labor only for 985 sq ft, I'd say you did pretty well. How many hours did it take two of you?

200 amps for 985 square feet? goodness!

Note that despite the small area, the amenities may still remain, i.e.--pig, dish, dryer, wash, etc, etc,.

I have asked the sq.ft. vs. $ per ft. Q of many GC's that claim the $ per ft will go up as the home shrinks due to this.

i must go chant the verse now...

This chant can be sung to "Come and see the Show" by Emerson, Lake & Palmer. I'm going to work on the endless church job today.
Let's see..ahem..."Welcome back my friends to the job that................ [Linked Image]

I paraphrased Shari Lewis' Lambchop song...
"This is the song that never ends..."

But hey! That's Cool with ELP!

Emerson, Lake & Palmer!
A one-time favorite. Saw them twice.
