This is probably an easy one for you guys but I've never had to install one.(lamp post). The homeowner is having his gas lamp post removed and wants an electric one installed. This is about 25ft from his house. Are these usually installed on cement slabs or are they spiked in the ground? Just looking for some tips. Thanks guys

Welcome to ECN!
Sorry,
Without more info, this is a hard one to answer.
How big is the lamp post?
How large is the fixture (luminaire)?

If its a short pole maybe 6 to 10 feet, you can dig a hole a couple of feet deep, form it with a sonnet tube and fill it with concrete, and install a conduit in the concrete so you can install your wire later. You could also check what the manufacturer says about installing this pole.
