Just a short question.
Who would be into the idea of using the new ECN Live Chat Area?.
There's no point in having a thing like this, if it's not going to be used.
So, please register your interest below!. [Linked Image]
And also Bill, would you like to give, us an out-line of the new concept?.

Mike,

Well, as you know we had Chat Room Software that wasn't used much and a bit outdated. It would've been very expensive to update that product.

I've been looking for something new and have something I think is pretty good and have a 'Bare Bones' Demo set up. The Demo is limited in # of users allowed at this point so I don't want to mention the Address here right now.

If anyone is interested in giving it a try send me an email and I'll give you the particulars. The Moderators have this info too.

Bill

Bill,
I reckon that this sounds like a good idea, especially where someone needs a problem solved that can really only be done by real-time communication.
And of course, for the occasional "how are you?" chat, would be cool.
Just as long as it is not subject to abuse (I don't personally think that our calibre of membership would stoop to that level).
No I'm all for it Bill, it just lessens the distance between us all!. [Linked Image]

Another option would be for users who are interested in “live chat” is for them to install Yahoo, AOL or MSN IM software and provide their username to the other members. I would guess many members here already have and IM account with one of these services. I use trillian which lets me communicate with members on Yahoo, AOL, MSN and IRC.

Well, Bill and I were just having a go at the new Chat area thing and I must say I quite like it.
A bit to get used to after using MSN Mess, but in some cases it's cool!.
Thanks for that one Bill!!. [Linked Image]
