Try this site, it has a free program that I've been using for the last 8-9 months and I haven't had a problem with pop-ups since!.

Google also has a popup blocker that installs with their toolbar (free).
Also, if you are using Windows XP, you can disable the Windows Messenger and all the grey boxes will quit coming up.

electure, thanks for that link I saved it to my favorites.

I have shutdown messenger.

I do run the google tool bar but still get ^%#& pop ups.

The PanicWare software really works! The only problem is you sometimes have to disable it on some sites or you can't pull up some items (it blocks them).

The Google toolbar did nothing for me.

Norton internet security got rid of all ads on website pages. I never see a banner ad.

Thanks for the links to panicware, I installed it and went to some sites that have annoying pop ups.
