New member and frist time posting gerat place.Dose any one know how the heck to get sealoff cement out of a seal off other than hamer and chisel.my hand is geeting tired and i have 30 more to go.Any help would be appreciated.
I use a vacuum to suck up loose pieces, sometimes I blow the conduit out after with an air compressor. I've used a drill with an old bit to cut through the compound. Usually use a screwdriver and a hammer and elbow grease
I read somewhere that vinegar softens it. You would then be able to pull the wires through. I don't know if it affects the insulation on the wire, though. Also, I wouldn't re-use the seal-off because I dont think rer-application of the sealing compound would adhere to the old, hardened residual compound.
