Electure, These are the only kind I deal with. I have seen the Edison base compacts in Walmart and other hardware stores. I always considered them for the homeowner who wants to retro-fit a lamp in the livingroom or something.
DS, next time you are in a retail store or public building look up. 99% of installed recessed lighting since EPACT are just like Electure's posted photo.
