Hi All:
I am looking for more commercial work. Is there an advertising vehicle that you have used that you found to be successful? I know word of mouth is the best and is all I have been using for the last 10 years.... As always your help is most apreciated!!
Thanks
Joe

In a one word answer: NO
Yellow Pages & flyer handout's didn't do a thing. Association (Italian American, Knights, Elks, etc) didn't do anything.
Hand delivering color flyers to the strip malls and car dealers didn't get a response.

Good old referals are the best!!

Keep them happy, that's the best advertising!

You could try to register with the blue book. This is like a Sweets directory listing.

I added my company several years ago and got a few calls from there. Some were seeing if I was bidding so and so or for service calls.

I believe the address is www.thebluebook.com.

I think the Thomas register is similar.
