To any and all!

I have been asked to do a piece on the 'slang' terms used for material in the electrical industry today. If anyone would like to contribute, I would appreciate it. You could post it, or email me at
techtraining.solutions@verizon.net
I think this could be a lot of fun and be very interesting. If you decide to do this please include the 'slang' term and the industry term related to the slang.

Thanks much!!!

Pierre

Pierre,

Are you going to dig up origins of terms too?
That would be interesting.

Here's two:
Madison clips or Battleships for col work box supports.

Search for "Slang" here on the ECN forums, there are a few others like this one:

Thank You Bill and EagleElectric and Joe for the excellent reference. I have a couple of weeks, so if anybody has more please add to the list. I will make sure to give credit to those who do.

Thanks

Pierre
