I got rid of my HP (ink) printers 20 years ago. I have had good luck with Brother Lasers. I have 2 that use the same cartridges so supplies are easy but a laser cartridge seems to last for years. One is just a printer that does duplex and the other is a printer copier fax I got in a auction for about $30. I got an HP PCF ink printer at the same auction house, bundled with 2 HP laptops for $90. I kept one laptop, gave one to my grand daughter and I sold the printer for $50. It made the laptops $20 each. They run W/11. I did have to reload them since they were password locked and I couldn't find a hack that opened them. They both had valid MS validation for W/10 so it was pretty painless and MS cajoled me into the free w/11 upgrade.
That HP printer ink subscription is really a scam.
