if there is no further guidance on the name plate about 208 and you come up dry on the internet, I would try to contact the manufacturer or distributor.
You have 2 issues here. Voltage and frequency. It will run faster, the question is how long?
There are motors that handle the voltage swing but you still have the speed thing.

Lower voltage reduces torque, risk of burning out the motor.
In case of 60 Hz, the way I look at it is that the motor requires a higher voltage to run properly.
6/5 x 220 = 264 Volts for a 60 Hz system.


The product of rotation, excitation and flux produces electricty.
