Every man and his dog is making Circuit Breakers, RCD's, RCBO's and whatever you think.
And behold, we have the new AFCB's that are mandated in the constant changes to the regulations of any country outside of the US.
Apparently, in Australia and indeed New Zealand we will have this BS forced upon us, just because they can.
The new amendments to AS/NZS 3000 mandate AFCB's when you rewire a house or add a new circuit to it.
The question is, how big do you want to make a switchboard?
Try and tell you customer that you HAVE to install this junk because if you don't and the place catches fire, you are now the perpetrator of that fire.
