i love this series, and have been watching it since i was about 15!

now its all on youtube, i have been watching the electrical clips where they show you how to fit 220v outlets and stuff like that. Anyone else seen them?

anyway, it looks so shonky! Sometimes they cut to it almost done, cutting out the obviously hard part.

and there is no testing at all, not even polarity

In the US, 240 volts 60Hz is used and it's a line to line connection so there is no polarity.

All DIY shows are guilty of just showing the glamorous parts, such as painting a wall and not showing the prep work.

I stopped watching TOH when Kevin O'Connor started hosting it.
He takes himself too seriously for me. bash
