Sixteen years ago, I stumbled upon this site as a fledgling contractor and have to say that a huge part of my education came from these pages.

It's great to see this site so popular now, I don't have to ask dumb questions to stir up activity!

Long story short, I'm making a return to the electrical industry after having some unique experiences as a sound designer and technician over the last few years.

My triumphant return will be as an Inspector for 5 Star Inspections here in southern West Virginia. I'm still waiting on my license to be issued from the Fire Marshal.

Anyway, a shout out to Bill Addis and all of the other first 250 or so folks I met online here. I owe them all very much.

WELCOME BACK!!!! or, Welcome Home!!!! Your Choice.

Yes, we had many conversations (here) back in the days.

Some are still here, others are not.

Ya still have 2327 posts to your credits.

BTW,I hung up the tools back in '06, and do the AHJ thing.

Thanks John!
It will be great to get reacquainted with you folks here.

I'll probably still ask a few dumb questions! Some things never change! laugh

We have paid our dues; time to point at stuff and tell the young 'uns to do it better! wink

To bad NJ and WVa don't recognize licenses. Beside that, it would be on heck of a commute.

Seems to be a shortage of electrical inspectors here lately.

Take care, stay safe, and enjoy Labor Day!!
