18 ft. ceilings, recess lights

I have a customer that has 18 ft. ceilings. Whoever wired the house only put one ceiling fan/light on a rod for overhead lighting and the customer is wanting to put some more lights (recess) in the ceiling. My opinion is to use LED bulbs for this. Any other recommendations? Looks like at least 6 is needed.
