An apt response Reno.

Myself, i went through an entire initial IAEI fatuation and subsequent disillusion ending in my leaving over a decade ago for very similar reasons.

Last month, due to proddings of local friendly competition , i was a guest at the green mountain chapter.

An entire 13 ,including myself, were present. 13 sparks outta an entire state.

Looking around i realized it could easily be mistaken for some sort of senior event, zero young blood at all....some haven't turned a tool in years....

They signed me up again...... I'm not sure what i'm doing here in a trade who's state apprenticeship is dying ,numbers way down , ..... they're retiring inspectors and not replacing them , the permit process justifies the crime of not pulling one......and the code book gets fatter.....

the entire term, trade 'electrician' is slowly lumbering off to the museum of lost art

How the local chapter addresses this is what i'm looking to hear
