The location is a steep grade Mostly rock possibly 6 inches of dirt above the rock. Looking for best way to support a couple RSC raceways??? I'm thinking Elevated treated supports
Raceways attached to them with expansion joints as required.
One conduit LV controls other 480 volt power circuits.
Run up grade aprox. 300 to 400 feet .
Anyone run into this before???

Back when....we drilled into the rock, epoxy in 3/4" s/s all thread, mounted 2-5/8 s/s strut and ran 4" galv on that.

Run was 250' +/- on about a 22 degree incline. As far as I know, it's still there.

The rest of Michigan is flat as a pancake!

RSC? It's not a term of art that we use out west.

Rigid Steel Conduit?

Snow and ice... are they issues?

If so, watch out for ice heave!

Ice can rip out just about anything. It must be avoided.

For my money: bury it or run it overhead.

Brutal terrain and conditions mean that the run can't be done on the cheap.

Yep Yooper!.
After looking at it many ways, Drilling poles into the rock. Want it to last more then a cpl. years.
