I am roughing in a new house. The HO are wanting to do LED trims in all the recessed lights. Along those lines I was thinking and looking at using LED tape for their under cabinet lights. They have a place for a transformer/driver. Has anybody used it or have an opinion on it.

This info will help as I have a "gentleman's lounge" that I am getting ready to wire. They want to use about 40 feet of it total in 3 or 4 places.

I installed about 50 feet of it in a kitchen remodel last year. They are amazing and very easy to work with. The only trick is that if they want to be able to dim them, you need to get a dimmable transformer and one of Lutron's special dimmers.
