We just bought a new VFD for a 3,750Hp motor for a water pump.
The manufacturer's test facility had a 6,000Hp motor that they used for their equipment testing...and they were getting ready to install the new 12,000Hp motor that they ordered so they could test "the big stuff".

Yikes!!

I wonder what they connect to the motor to simulate the mechanical load?
