Yeah, Pretty much more of the same. One thing you have to realise is that today is the day before Xmas Eve here, the malls and shops would have been packed with shoppers, before these and the airport were fully evacuated. There were in fact 6 quakes, varying from 5.0 to 6.0, had they have been any larger, there could have been a very different outcome.
As per usual, there has been the phone networks (land and cell) go out, power is off to some parts of Christchurch and the liquefaction has returned. This is just brilliant, all the hard work that has been done here by volunteers to clean the city up, has pretty much been undone. It's just really frustrating to see this happening time and again.
