I'm assuming you are asking these questions because you are operating on a low budget, but aren't there any grip companies around that could get you set with the right kit for rental? Or, at the very least, enlist the help of someone who has experience with running power for the film industry.

Yes, this film is fairly low budget. There are grip companies but their services are pretty expensive, I'm looking for a cheaper alternative to hiring more people.
