What is the mounting height guidelines for "off-the shelf" motion detectors?
I seem to remember 8-12' minimum, but is 16-18' too high?
Sorry, don't have time to go to "bix box supply" to read the instructions first.

Thanks

I think that within reason, the higher you go the bigger the field of "activation". If you get that high off of the ground, there might be a problem with nusance tripping. But should work fine otherwise.
