Most of this EMT is empty, just for show. Part of a high end retail..bare-bones look. Yes, some runs exceed 360 degrees. THe cord/sosket/lamp is actually a factory assembled and UL listed luminaire, all the EC had to do was follow the instructions and tighten the setscrews

There is nothing like good pipe work.

My only gripe is those "offset" bends to the right of the picture, sure, only an electrician would notice anything different to the norm, but I feel they could have been matched up a wee bit better, the rest of of it looks pretty darned good to me.

One other thing, you just can't get a job looking like this with PVC conduit, I like the shinyness of EMT, it's a shame you can't get it over here, mind you, with our climate and harsh air, it'd probably vanish in about a week.

This was actually done to a very detailed drawing. That is how they wanted it.
