You'll love this.

This morning at 6:50 AM when I pulled in to the job, my boss was moving the 4/0 Quad-plex off of the driveway. Seems the weight was too much for the temp. pole. The supports broke and the whole thing came down. We put the pole back up but this time we used #6 quad-plex to span over the driveway. (on a 150A breaker - its cold outside, it will probably be OK)

He won't be there tomorrow, but he wants me to pound a ground rod at the N3R panel, bond the BARE neutral and run a #10 THHN to each trailer.

And yes, there will be phones in each trailer.

The parallel path to ground that I'm referring to is on the building side of this feed that is feeding the trailers. For example where the bare neutral contacts the lightning protection conductor and where it contacts the EMT conduit.

I know one thing... If they sent me out to do this from scratch, it would have cost them more because I would have purchased the correct material.

Certainly puts the installer in an awkward position.

Hunt a new employer or just do as told.
