I suppose the only complaint might be that since you didn't need "tools" to get in it you were encouraging unqualified people to look around.
The more I think about it the more I want to do it on my panels. I was careful to be sure I only used the regular 10-32 type screws (not the double speed ones) so I could just swap them out with 3/4" hex heads run from from the inside and knurled nuts.
I have a nomex suit that I use ANY time I get into an electrical panel. It is my company's policy. Anything can happen inside. Remember the handyman may have been in there.
