I just today renewed my California Journeyman's Certification with the Division of Apprenticeship Standards. I first took the exam early in 2003.
I wondered what other electricians have done for Continuing Education, as it's very difficult to find classes without some form of sponsorship.
It was a pretty sorry turnout anyway, with the fumbling DAS delays after DAS delays, a poor showing by the electricians (less than 1/2 of the 79,295 that signed up for the exam actually passed it), and all the hacks that didn't think it was necessary to even sign up.
Do you think that the certified will dwindle in numbers now that renewal times come around?
BTW, I took my CEUs online at
