I am looking at possibly doing a commercial job in Knoxville. Does anybody know what it takes to get a Tennessee liscense. It may even be on a county basis. I know NC does not reciprocate with TN, but maybe I could qualify. Just investigating. Thanks.

Start by calling the building department in Knoxville. From my experiance I have taken jobs in 3 different states. All states required lisensing from thier state. Which would require taking a masters test.

Which I think is rediculas. It is called the NEC but lisense are only good in one state (for the most part). I wish that could be changed.
