Where do you terminate the #8 bonding wire used around the Hydro-Massage Bath Tub (HMBT) if the water circulating pump is double insulated and has no bonding lug on it? I sent in a proposal to terminate it in the J-box of the branch circuit supplying the tub motor.

They may say that the intent of equipotential bonding does not include tying it to the EGC pointing to the FPN in 680.26(A) but it is not a bad idea. I agree that in a double insulated all plastic installation there is not much to bond. At a certain point I would be asking about the floor. Is it concrete with tile? That may be the next thing to look at if you want to worry about something. That is yet another selling point for the Ufer and bonding the wire in the floor to the rebar in the footer.

Double insul motor and PEX piping?
Normal motor with lug, PEX piping (or other brand plastic) with PVC waste??
Going to the panel can create a parallel ground path, con it not?

What's wrong with parallel grounding paths, we do it all the time, in fact in health care it is required.
In your typical pool installation you have several parallel ground paths. EGC in the underwater light is connected to the bonding grid, as is the case of the pool pump, the cover motor, the heater and any electrical equipment mounted to the screen cage.
