It all depends, is that a sheet metal screw? You need to bond drywall with a drywall screw.

What are we looking at here? Is that a heater or A/C unit with the cover removed?
It looks like a3-wire supply cord. Is that green wire just the EGC from the cord, or is it secured to the appliance frame?

It's an A/C unit in an apartment, this wire comes directly from the cord.
