Perhaps they should have stuck some of their bathroom remodeling budget on getting rid of the "handyman work" in the basement. Enveloping the K & T in insulation? Tisk Tisk.

Nah, new wiring doesn't add any "sweat equity", it's the nice warm tile floor! And the wirenuts do add a nice touch, I just hope no one touches them because they'll probably fall off!

ok, despite the wonderful wiring that will eventually heat up the floor super hot. what or why are they only covering part of the bay with insulation, rather that laying the batt in the entire section, pushing up a couple holding wires, and voila nice toasty room upstairs?....
another case of the unknowing doing what they dont know.
