I hadn't seen something like this before, and thought it was neat. I'm sure some of you have seen this or have one already. Any opinions on how it works? I think I'm going to get one because I'm usually pulling by myself.
How does it work? Looks like a peice from a printing press.
I have one it has 24 holes in it, about 1/2"diam. I mount it # it and feed the wires thru it.Secure it to the cable rack then pull. Come back, there are all the wires, #s etc. Cost me about $4. Plus install 20 sec.
My appoligies. I didn't read the whole script. But still some 1" pvc and tye wraps and your done. It does look like a nice toy,And I'm sure very helpfull. Just make sure the cables are supported and up off of the ceiling.
Active 1… That 4” square roller plate looks like it’s the cat’s pajamas. It looks like it would also be perfect to prevent chafing the outer PVC jacket on THHN when pulling box to box over a long run with the spool stands payout at an angle to the EMT connector.
Mike... Good deal on that cable guide. I just saw the same exact thing, right down to the weld spatter, with a Greenlee decal on it. Naturally, the “Greenlee” branded roller is almost twice the price of the one in your post.
Active1 I like your find too... But I never do commercial anymore, just my own house and those freebies that my friends want me to do on their houses... Wish I had known about the roller plate a few years ago. I also like the idea of a PVC guide set. Thanks for spreading the knowledge everyone!
