I had a full rebuild done on my transmission 2 months ago and it died Friday morning. Brought it back to the shop that did the rebuild and he found metal in the trans pan.

As of this moment the van is still not ready so I have been idle for 3 days now.

Half tempted to litigate for lost income.......

It's ridiculous that the repair only lasted 2 months...

How about have them comp you for a rental?

I used to have a '91 GMC 3500 with a csrburated 350. When it died I had a place out in Sugar Grove put a rebuilt one in for $600. I couldn't believe how cheap it was. Only lasted a year, and he put another one in for labor only or some deal like that, so I paid something maybe $350 to put another one in. Well that one got maybe a year too, and this guy was getting ticked at me because I kept bringing it back. He wouldn't touch it again and was out of business within a few months.
