That AC spark plug ad is cool. Those used to be made right down the street from my house at what is now a Delphi plant.

Drifting away from the specifically electrical side a little, but while we're on the car nostalgia, have a listen to these wonderful jingles from some old commercials.

Unfortunately I have no way to get the video converted to digital form at the moment, but at least you can enjoy the audio portion. All MP3 format.

From the mid/late 1950s:

Dodge - More truck per buck
(Sounds like Frankie Laine to me.)

Lincoln/Mercury leads the way
(The young lady we see getting into the brand new 1969 Mercury Cougar actually has a cougar sitting next to her in the passenger seat!)
