It is easy to find training courses and/or standards relating to electrical work (NEC type of work). However, I cannot find much in the way of training or standards for technicians. We are an OEM, and our customers sometimes send equipment back to us that we have to work on while energized (120 VAC and high voltage DC). Does anyone know of any safety standards or training for this type of situation?

Try the NFPA 70E and 70B for starters. We provide HV training all over north america and also have online training available.
