I'm looking for your help on an issue we have at work, mainly from our Aus/NZ members.
I have a series of suspended sockets (that are designed to fit onto the end of a flex and be supported by a chain).
They were originally installed on the end of a curly cord from a horizontal length of cable tray.
Now with the cords becoming stretched, the things are easily reaching the ground and a couple have been run over by fork-lifts and are in a dangerous state of repair.
Now, these old ones are a Clipsal branded thing and I can't read the actual code number on them, but they look like they are not made for industrial use.
Here is the question before me, I need a reasonably compact 10A single-phase switched suspension socket, can anyone give me a brand and code number for some replacements?.
Any help I can get on this matter would be gratefully accepted, as there is only PVC tape saving some of the staff at work from a 230V shock.
I'd like to get this fixed before the weekend is out if possible.
BTW, don't worry about the fork-lift risk any more, I've sorted that one out.
