When I was in Tokyo last year I saw several trucks like this, it’s the ultimate expression in a Rice Truck.

On second thought, the gleaming rear of the truck makes that rig look like a lunch truck (roach coach) gone horribly wrong. [Linked Image]

Dont think it was a mazda, headlights are different, looks like it started off as a dual cab toyota dyna. We had them as work vehicles in the early nineties when i was an apprentice and they havent changed much. Ours wasnt as shiny as that one though!

With the front mirrors that look down thru the slots in the bumper, I'm guessing its some sort of railroad power or signalling work truck.

I kept thinking something was wrong with the Mazda assumption... and kept forgetting there was a second car with those weird side windows! You're probably right-on with the Dyna.

That Isuzu is sweet looking [Linked Image] If the thing in the first pic was the one in the last pic, then this country's body shops must be monitored more closely (possibly along with UN sanctions)

At least the beast in the first picture can't have been the exact same model as the Isuzu, the doors look too different.
As a matter of fact, the Toyota Dyna doesn't look right either... the bottom part of the doors is pretty distinctive. Weird.
