No, it was decided to remove the thread as a precaution. Sometimes it's a good idea to 'discontinue' potentially explosive topics before something happens. Politics and Religion are two things that many feel strongly about and minor disagreements can be disasterous even amongst the best of friends. Everyone here gets along pretty well and it would be a shame for something to change that if it can be avoided.

I agree. There are plenty of other forums that entertain such volitale topics, with well versed posters , so why waste this forums bandwidth?
