People hide the darndest things above dropped ceilings!

In addition to the problem with the SO cord, it looks like that 1/2" coupling is missing a set screw.

Yes! It looks like it's missing a pipe too!

Looks like a piece of "larger" romex.

Had they put the extra length of pipe on this installation they would have been forced to derate the conductors, and that would have totally fouled up a code compliant installation. And that other wire entering the two inch conduit dosen't have conduit on it and it was installed by a real electrician.

I've never come across romex in that Minty Green color.... Hmmmm
