Copper GEC, copper water line. Are zinc-alloy clamps OK?
The last few times I ordered clamps from the supply house, they sent zinc. I prefer brass.
Anyone?

Thanks, Joe.
The page doesn't state conductor material compatibilities, but I spoke to my supplier and got the box for the zinc clamps, which shows use for copper conductors and either copper or galvanized pipe.
I have seen what appeared to be these zinc clamps corrode badly when attached to a copper water line, but my supplier said that aluminum clamps are, or were, available. Maybe aluminum is what I saw

Redsy,

Our Utility "Red Book" (Guidelines) recommend that zinc-coated, steel type connector be used only on Iron water pipe.
