Looks like a double BX connector used for Romex. I like the way the ground wire is brought back under the connector to make a "good" ground. It also looks like this was cut out of the system and replaced with a correct connector.

Reminds me of that magic trick with the swords and the "lovely assistant".

It would be interesting to see what that center screw did to the insulation on those conductors inside...

Just noticed that it 3 conductor, not 2!! Hope he got the screw between the ground and neutral, even though it look to be between the ground and black!!!!
